Stable Homes for Oregon Families

The gap between the wealthy few and the rest of us is widening, especially for Oregonians of color, LGBTQ communities, immigrants, and working families. Rents across the state are rising far faster than incomes, pushing people out of their homes. And all too often, no-cause evictions are used to retaliate, discriminate, and displace Oregon families - even when they have always paid their rents on time. Rising rents and no-cause evictions result in homelessness and poverty.

On February 28, 2019, Governor Kate Brown signed Senate Bill 608, historic renter protections, into law, effective immediately. We did it!
